Este torneo internacional de fútbol en Estrasburgo, Francia, se caracteriza por su buena organización. La Alsace Cup ha sido un habitual en nuestro calendario a lo largo de los años. En el 2012, se celebrará su vigésima edición. En las afueras de Vosges, cerca de la pintoresca Saverne, tres clubes han unido sus recursos para organizar este torneo. Todos ellos tienen un centro deportivo bien equipado con dos campos de césped natural y una bonita sede del club. La Alsace Cup es ideal para los equipos que no van en busca de grandes espectáculos y que solo quieren pasarlo en grande con sus “viejos amigos”. Jugar al fútbol sin obligaciones, eso es de lo que se trata en este torneo internacional de fútbol juvenil en la francesa ciudad de Estrasburgo!

La Alsace Cup es fruto de la cooperación entre tres clubs: el US Imbsheim, SC Dettwiller y el FC Monswiller. Los campos van ha estar especialmente decorados para la ocasión, de manera que todos los equipos se sentirán como un invitado especial.

The Alsace Cup will take place in the villages of Dettwiller, Bouxwiller, Imbsheim and Lupstein. Each location has a community sports park with 1-2 grass pitches, changing rooms with showers and a canteen where you can get something to eat and drink. The distance between the venues is approximately 10 kilometres.

Dettwiller & Imbsheim

Taking part in the Alsace Cup is a great introduction to the way of life of Northern Alsace. The villages of Imbsheim and Dettwiller lie close to the provincial town of Saverne (12,000 inhabitants), which is really worth a visit for its imposing buildings and intimate architecture. Strasbourg is approximately 40 km away and is easily reached via the A4 motorway.

Strasbourg

Strasbourg is 40 kilometres from the match locations. The city is the heart of the Alsace and the capital of Europe. The centre of the city boasts glorious old buildings, beautiful little alleyways and many other attractions. The most famous monument is the impressive cathedral. You'll also find La Petite France here: the most well preserved part of the city. You'll be amazed at the old timber frame buildings, which are more than 300 years old. There are often shops and restaurants tucked away in these buildings.

This huge swimming pools provides plenty of indoor and outdoor fun, as well as the chance to enjoy the spa and Turkish baths (please observe the rules for bathing clothes).
