The UEFA Respect campaign
The UEFA Respect campaign promotes the crucial idea of respect across the game: respect for opposing players, coaches and officials, respect for referees and for supporters. Respect is an essential value of football as a sport open to all. The Respect campaign was launched by the UEFA at the UEFA EURO 2008 tournament in Austria and Switzerland, with the former UEFA President Michel Platini stating: “As the governing body of European football, UEFA has the responsibility to protect the game and its supporters.”
Euro-Sportring Mourns the Loss of Former Chairman Gerhard Aigner
2024.06.21It is with sadness that I have to inform you of the passing of our friend and former chairman of the Euro-Sportring board, Gerhard Aigner. He passed away on June 20 at the age of 80.
