After a year of delay, it will finally happen at Easter 2022: the kick-off of the first edition of the Niederrhein Trophy. The organizers are counting on a wide field of participants with teams from Germany, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Denmark and perhaps also the Czech Republic. FC Büderich was founded in 2002 and over the past 20 years has developed into a stable amateur club in the Düsseldorf region. The club has 700 members and 24 teams in competition.

The FC Buderich 02 sports park is a modern sports park located on the west side of Düsseldorf in the Meerbusch district. The sports park has 5 pitches of which 2 are artificial turf pitches, a cosy clubhouse and several changing rooms.

Düsseldorf (600,000 inhabitants) is famous for its shopping boulevards, museums and vibrant nightlife. The city lies on both banks of the Rhine with the Altstadt (Old Town) on the east side and the modern commercial district on the west side. The Altstadt is known as “die längste Theke der Welt”. The city owes this nickname to the more than 200 cafe bars, restaurants and terraces that can be found in this part of the city.
