Düsseldorf (600,000 inhabitants) is famous for its shopping boulevards, museums and vibrant nightlife. The city lies on both banks of the Rhine with the Altstadt (Old Town) on the east side and the modern commercial district on the west side. The Altstadt is known as “die längste Theke der Welt”. The city owes this nickname to the more than 200 cafe bars, restaurants and terraces that can be found in this part of the city.

Sporthall Neus

Two sports halls have been made available for the participants of the Niederrhein Trophy. The halls are part of the Alexander-von-Humboldt-Gymnasium in Neuss near Düsseldorf. The building is located in a quiet, green residential area a few kilometres from the pleasant centre of Neuss. Around the accommodation there is an outdoor area with green areas and parking spaces.
