Play your matches at the legendary grounds of 1. FC Lokomotive Leipzig, a club that reached the European Cup Winners’ Cup final in 1987 against Ajax Amsterdam. The winning goal? Scored by none other than Marco van Basten.  

At the centre of the complex is the iconic Bruno-Plache-Stadion, which hosts both tournament matches and the festive opening ceremony. With multiple high-quality pitches, excellent facilities and a location just 15 minutes from Leipzig’s vibrant city centre, this venue offers the full package. This coming spring, the 1. FC Lokomotive Leipzig sports complex will be the vibrant stage for the Leipzig Pokal. Set in a location steeped in football history, the heart of the tournament is the Bruno-Plache-Stadion – usually home to the club’s first team, now the arena where international youth teams will go head-to-head. Surrounding the stadium is a spacious and well-equipped complex with pristine pitches, modern changing facilities, and a welcoming atmosphere where sportsmanship and passion take center stage. The club’s iconic blue and yellow colors and its dedicated volunteers create an environment where every team feels at home from the moment they arrive.

1. FC Lokomotive Leipzig is a club with a rich history and a proud tradition in the heart of the former East Germany. What began as one of the country’s oldest football clubs has grown into a vibrant organization with a warm and passionate fan base. The club has around 3,000 members and hosts an impressive number of teams – from the first squad playing in the iconic Bruno-Plache-Stadion to a lively youth academy with a dozen teams training and competing on the club’s grounds every day. This coming spring, the club will welcome international teams to compete for the Leipzig Pokal. Get ready, because winning that trophy won’t be easy!
