Bregenz

Bregenz (27,500 inhabitants) is the capital of the Austrian federal state of Vorarlberg and is located near the borders of Germany and Switzerland.  The city lies between Lake Constance and the Alps. The colourful old town is atmospheric and tasteful, with historical buildings and vibrant shopping streets with cosy terraces. The tournament is held just outside the old town near the bank of Lake Constance.

Activities

Lake Constance:

Lake Constance is a real tourist attraction. It's a wonderful place to relax on one of the beaches by the lake, the third largest in Europe. A boat trip to the medieval town of Lindau or the garden island of Mainau is highly recommended. Of course, you can also swim, snorkel, go canoeing or hire a pedal boat.

Pfander:

From Pfander mountain you have a breathtaking beautiful view over Bregenz, Lake Constance and the surrounding Alps. The top of the mountain is accessible by cable car from the town - this alone is worth the effort. At the top of the mountain you'll also find a game park, a bird of prey show and a panorama restaurant.

Sportshall Bregenz
School/Sportshall

During the Bodensee Pokal, the city centre of Bregenz is completely adorned by the colours of international football teams. A wide range of sports halls throughout the city provide bases for more than 500 foreign players from all over Europe. Distances to the various football venues range from 2 to 5 kilometres.
