Where Europe’s youth comes together
Next season marks the kick-off of this brand-new international youth tournament, replacing the well-known Uerdingen Cup. Most teams will be staying in Düsseldorf, a vibrant city full of entertainment, culture, and sights to discover. Matches will be hosted by GSV Moers and TV Asberg 1879 e.V., who provide their modern artificial and natural grass pitches for this very first edition. On their sports parks everything comes together: exciting matches, teams from all over Europe, and a lively tournament atmosphere that players and supporters will never forget. Welcome to the Rhein-Ruhr area, one of Europe’s largest metropolitan regions.

The GSV Moers sports park offers excellent facilities with 3 artificial 11v11 pitches, 2 natural 9v9 pitches, and 1 natural 7v7 pitch. Nearby, the TV Asberg 1879 e.V. sports park provides 2 artificial 11v11 pitches and 1 natural 9v9 pitch. Together, these venues form the perfect stage for the international Rhein-Ruhr Pokal.
About the organiser of the tournament


GSV Moers, one of the city’s larger sports clubs with a rich history dating back to 1910 and a strong youth academy, is joining forces with TV Asberg, a traditional club founded in 1897 with a wide range of sports and deep roots in the local community, to organize the new international youth football tournament Rhein-Ruhr Pokal. With their size, tradition, and joint commitment, the clubs are combining their strengths to provide a stage for young football players from home and abroad.

Düsseldorf
For a night out, you have to head to Düsseldorf. This famous historical and tourist city has 600,000 inhabitants and is famous for its dazzling nightlife. It's not only the 'Altstadt' (the old town), with more than 300 cafes and clubs, that's a great night out, but also the trendy area around Nordstrasse. Düsseldorf is 25 kilometres from Krefeld.

Moers is a charming city in the Rhein-Ruhr region, known for its historic old town and lively shopping streets.
