Sun, sea, pine forests: the Amfora Cup is the right place for teams looking for a tournament in a relaxed environment! The sports and holiday resort Zelena Laguna is located near the seaside resort of Porec. This is where many professional teams, and previously even the national Croatian team, come for their annual training camp. During Pentecost, the sports complex becomes the main location for the Amfora Cup and is fully reserved for the youth of Europe. However, do not miss visiting  the beautiful 2000 year-old city of Porec, just a bit further. Very highly recommended.

The Amfora Cup take place in one beautiful, atmospheric sports ground a few hundred metres from the beach in the seaside towns of Porec. The park features five fine pitches and a variety of other facilities. During the tournament, the whole area is supplemented with various festive kiosks offering snacks and drinks.

Porec

The seaside resort of Porec (12,000 inhabitants) is situated on the west coast of Istria, about 60 kilometres from Trieste (IT). Thanks to its ideal location on the Adriatic, the Mediterranean climate, the impressive monuments in the attractive centre and the beautiful promenade, the city has grown into a famous tourist attraction. Despite its popularity, Porec has remained a friendly city with restaurants and cafés around the old harbour.

Aquacolors Poreč is the largest water park in Croatia - for everyone from 0 to 100. 12 extra-long slides are sure to satisfy even the biggest water freaks. For families with small children, there is a large children's pool with all kinds of water activities, as well as several long family slides. Relax during a gentle swim around the 500m-long lazy river or in the large wave pool.

Hotel Delfin is a popular hotel on the shores of the Adriatic Sea, only a few kilometres from the romantic coastal town of Porec, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The hotel is built around a large swimming pool (open from May) and terraces. The beach is only a few minutes’ walk away through a beautiful pine forest. The recreation complex also features a large sports centre with a tennis park, a large indoor hall and four ***** football fields that are used for the tournament.
