Football in the heart of Northern Italy

The location alone gives you a true holiday feeling. The Trofeo del Garda takes place in the beautiful Valeggio sul Mincio, near Verona and just a short distance from Lake Garda. It is the perfect setting where sport, relaxation and Italian hospitality come together. The organiser is equally impressive. Chievo Verona, a club that spent many years in Serie A and competed in European competitions, organises this international tournament with great passion and enthusiasm. Today, the club plays in Serie D, the fourth tier of Italian football, but its rich history and professional character remain clearly visible. Thing to do in and around Valeggio sul Mincio & Verona

Lake Garda

Lake Garda is one of the highlights of Northern Italy and is within easy reach of the Trofeo del Garda tournament venues. Popular destinations on the southern shore include Peschiera del Garda, Sirmione and Desenzano del Garda, with lively centres, charming shopping streets and plenty of cafés and terraces. Along the lake you will find beaches, picturesque harbours and beautiful promenades overlooking the water. The famous Gardaland theme park is also nearby, while the historic city of Verona is only a short drive away. With Lake Garda, Gardaland and Verona all within easy reach, the Trofeo del Garda offers plenty to enjoy both on and off the pitch.

Gardaland Amusement Park

Gardaland is the largest and most popular amusement park in Italy. With more than 50 attractions, including spectacular roller coasters, dark rides, water rides and shows, boredom will never be an issue!

Verona

Verona is one of the most beautiful historic cities in Northern Italy and is located just a short distance from the tournament venues. The city is world-famous as the setting for the love story of Romeo and Juliet, but has much more to offer. Visit the impressive Arena di Verona, stroll across the lively Piazza delle Erbe and explore the charming streets of the historic centre. For football fans, Verona is also home to Hellas Verona and Chievo Verona. A visit to Verona is the perfect addition to a sporting weekend at the Trofeo del Garda.

Sirmione

Sirmione is one of the most famous villages of Lake Garda, which it crosses thanks to its unique geographical conformation, with a peninsula that "cuts" the lake separating the Brescia side from the Veronese side.  Known throughout the world, Sirmione hosts tourists all year round who visit its wonders such as the historic center enclosed within the castle or the historic areas of the Grotte di Catullo.  Sirmione is also renowned for its food and wine production and thermal springs where you can find relaxation or perform medical treatments.
