The Tønder Easter Cup is organised by Tønder SF-Fodbold (TSF-Fodbold). This club was founded in 1920 as a multi-sports club. In 2003, the football division became an independent club. The club has 25 youth teams and regularly hosts training camps for the Danish football association.
Tønder Fritidscenter sports park has 7 pitches and a cafeteria. There are also 3 sports halls that will be used during the tournament for various sports and games acitivities, including a thrilling indoor football tournament on Saturday evening for younger participants. Furthermore, the sports park has a spacious club house and indoor swimming pool. Tournament participants have free access to this on Friday evening. The Tønder Fritidscenter is a unique location, even by Danish standards!
The town of Tønder (approx. 8,000 inhabitants) is located in South Jutland, right on the border with Germany. Tønder is a popular destination for day trippers due to its classic town centre and atmospheric shopping streets. The Tønder Easter Cup is held at the municipal sports park right next to the town centre on the opposite side of Vidå creek.
