The perfect combination
This coming Easter weekend, a brand new international youth handball tournament will take place in the Munich region: the Bavarian Handball Cup. Organized by Eintracht Dachau-Karlsfeld, the tournament combines sporting challenge with genuine Bavarian hospitality – the ideal combination for an unforgettable handball weekend.
In the modern sports halls in Dachau and Karlsfeld and the surrounding area, teams from all over Europe will compete in exciting matches in a lively and well-organized environment. The Bavarian Handball Cup is played at six different sports venues in Dachau and Karlsfeld.
About the organiser of the tournament
Since March 2023, the handball clubs TSV Eintracht Karlsfeld and TSV 1865 Dachau have been officially cooperating under the name Eintracht Dachau-Karlsfeld.

Munich

Dachau is particularly known for its historical monuments, such as the Dachau Concentration Camp Memorial Site, as well as its charming old town with cozy cafes and restaurants. Karlsfeld offers peace and greenery, ideal for relaxing after matches. Dachau is older than Munich and is home to the largest artists' colony in Bavaria. Its proximity to Munich makes the area even more attractive. After matches, players can easily head into town to discover its cultural attractions or visit the Allianz Arena, the famous stadium of top club FC Bayern Munich.
