Around 300 teams from all of Europe: now that's an international competition. With the Holland Cup, it's clear to see that football really is a world sport. Whether you're from Scotland or Italy, whatever language you speak - everyone shares the same passion. So get involved in the new edition! You'll be warmly welcomed in Almere, close to Amsterdam. The international competition takes place across four beautiful sports parks around the centre of Almere. And if you want to blow off a little steam, you can visit the nearby Johan Cruijff ArenA, the home grounds of Ajax or the famous centre of Amsterdam. It'll be a thrilling Easter weekend..

The Holland Cup is organised by FC Almere, AS'80, ASC Waterwijk and Sporting Almere with the active support of the city of Almere.

The Holland Cup is played at four modern sports parks, all situated around the centre of Almere. The sports park has 5 to 8 fields and a beautiful clubhouse with a big canteen and terrace. The sports parks have plenty of parking facilities.

Almere

Almere (200,000 inhabitants) was built on reclaimed land and is the fastest growing city in the Netherlands. It is located just 20 km from Amsterdam, on the opposite side of the IJmeer lake. By train it takes just 20 minutes to reach the centre of Amsterdam. But there's no need to take the train if you want to shop, as Almere has one of the largest shopping centres in the Netherlands.

Amsterdam is the capital of the Netherlands. You'll never get tired of it. The city is known for its historic canals, picturesque and often ancient buildings, the many museums, shopping streets, the many markets, the fascinating nightlife. The Anne Frank House, the Kalverstraat, the Dam, the Leidseplain, the Vondelpark - they're all fantastic sights. The modern schools and gym-/sports facilities in Almere are situated in a residential area at a maximum of 12 km from the sports locations. Within 10 kilometres from the accommodation you’ll reach the attractive city centre of Almere with many shopping facilities, restaurants and pubs or discotheques. The schools all have a big theatre, a kiosk, receptions and an outside recreational area.
