Folklore and modernity go hand in hand in Munich. Munich is the city of the historic Marienplatz and its beautifully decorated buildings. It is the city of the Oktoberfest with happy people in ‘lederhosen’ and ‘dirndl’ dresses. The atmospheric centre is full of old Bavarian architecture, lively shopping streets and numerous terraces that are pleasantly filled during stretches of fine weather. Karlsfeld, Heimstetten & Ismaning
Karrlsfeld (21000 inhabitants), Ismaning (16,000 inhabitants) and Heimstetten (7,000 inhabitants) are located close to the Munich ring road near the Allianz Arena – the renowned stadium of FC Bayern Munich. The famous Marienplatz square in the city centre of Munich is approximately 20 minutes away by car or public transport.
