A pihentető környezetben zajló versenyt kereső csapatoknak nem kell tovább keresniük: az Istra és az Amfora Cup épp nekik való. Porec több évszázados kikötője mellett, az isztriai part szívében fekszik a Zelena Laguna sport- és szabadidőközpont. Számos professzionális csapat, és alkalmanként a horvát nemzeti csapat is itt tartja edzőtáborait. De Húsvétkor és Pünkösdkor a komplexum kizárólag a fiataloké. A verseny 15 éves történelmével mára régi barátok találkozóhelyének számít.

Az Amfora Cup bajnokságot az NK Veli Vrh, az Istrian Football Association szövetséggel és Porec városával együtt rendezi.

The Amphora Cup take place in two beautiful, atmospheric sports grounds a few hundred metres from the beach in the seaside towns of Porec and Umag. The Umag sports park is located next to the impressive Stella Maris tennis stadium, where the annual ATP tournament takes place every summer. The parks feature five fine pitches and a variety of other facilities. During the tournament, the whole area is supplemented with various festive kiosks offering snacks and drinks.

Porec

The seaside resort of Porec (12,000 inhabitants) is situated on the west coast of Istria, about 60 kilometres from Trieste (IT). Thanks to its ideal location on the Adriatic, the Mediterranean climate, the impressive monuments in the attractive centre and the beautiful promenade, the city has grown into a famous tourist attraction. Despite its popularity, Porec has remained a friendly city with restaurants and cafés around the old harbour.

Umag

The seaside resort of Umag (13,000 inhabitants) is the first city you will reach when approaching Istria from western Europe, about 40 kilometres from Trieste (Italy). Thanks to its ideal location on the Adriatic coast, the Mediterranean climate and the impressive sports infrastructure, tournaments and sporting events take place all year round. During the Jadran Cup the European youth will have the opportunity to enjoy this beautiful location. Dobrodošli u Umag, welcome in Umag!

Istria

Istria is the largest peninsula in the Adriatic Sea and the most western province of Croatia. Istria boasts at least 445 kilometres of rocky coastline, making it a popular holiday spot for sun worshippers! The towns of Pula, Poreč and Umag are the most noteworthy tourist destinations. Istria has a pristine natural landscape with lakes and waterfalls, a rich centuries-old culture and hospitable people.

Aquacolors Poreč Water Park

Aquacolors Poreč is the largest water park in Croatia - for everyone from 0 to 100. 12 extra-long slides are sure to satisfy even the biggest water freaks. For families with small children, there is a large children's pool with all kinds of water activities, as well as several long family slides. Relax during a gentle swim around the 500m-long lazy river or in the large wave pool.

Hotel Delfin is a popular hotel on the shores of the Adriatic Sea, only a few kilometres from the romantic coastal town of Porec, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The hotel is built around a large swimming pool (closed in April) and terraces. The beach is only a few minutes’ walk away through a beautiful pine forest. The recreation complex also features a large sports centre with a tennis park, a large indoor hall and four ***** football fields that are used for the tournament.

On the sunny side of the tourist village Zelena Laguna, hidden between palms, pines and other Mediterranean vegetation, lie in total 136 apartments with a small terrace and grill place in the garden. Zelena Laguna is on a 5 kilometer distance to the city of Porec. The well maintained pebble, rocky and paved beach is at approximately 150 meters distance. In the tourist village Zelena Laguna there are supermarkets, discotheques, restaurants, bars and souvenir shops.
