“Un torneo fantastico e ben organizzato. Gli organizzatori devono essere lodati!”. Questo commento da parte di uno dei team leaders spiega tutto, perché le persone che lavorano dietro le quinte del Maastricht Trophy sanno davvero quello che fanno. Questo torneo internazionale di calcio giovanile fa parte del programma Euro-Sportring da oltre venticinque anni e gli organizzatori non hanno mai perso il loro entusiasmo. Gli appassionati di calcio di tutta Europa sanno trovare la loro strada per Maastricht. E per completare questa festa del calcio, il centro storico della città si trova nelle vicinanze. La città è perfetta per tutti coloro che vogliono godersi una bella atmosfera e dunque il Maastricht Trophy è caldamente raccomandato!
La Maastricht Trophy viene organizzata dalla RKVVL Polaris e dalla VV Standaard. Ci sono poche società in Olanda che hanno ottenuto un record come quello della RKVVL Polaris e della VV Standaard. Insieme dal 1984, hanno organizzato questo torneo internazionale di calcio giovanile a Maastricht. La RKVVL Polaris ha 8 squadre di veterani e 28 squadre giovanili e 650 iscritti. La VV Standard dispone di 24 squadre e conta circa 400 iscritti.
The Maastricht Trophy is played at vv Maastricht West & RKHSV. Botch clubs has multiple (artificial) pitches for 11-a-side.

Maastricht is located at the southernmost point of the Netherlands, and has a beautiful historic city centre. The streets around the Vrijthof, the city’s ‘living room’, so to speak, are teeming with stores, cosy terraces and restaurants. The Maastricht Trophy is held on the western side of the city, more or less on the border with Belgium.
Valkenburg is 15 kilometres from Maastricht. It is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the Netherlands. The city has a friendly centre where visitors can experience all kinds of activities. Special attractions in Valkenburg include the Thermae 2000, a luxury thermal centre with various swimming pools, saunas and Turkish steam baths, and De Valkenier, an amusement park with a range of activities for all ages.
