During Easter weekend, a brand-new international handball tournament takes place in the heart of Germany: the Germany Handball Cup in Eschwege! The organizers from Eschweger TSV welcome youth and senior teams from across Europe for a weekend full of handball, competitive spirit, and international atmosphere. With matches in six modern sports halls and a tight tournament schedule, this inaugural edition promises to be a top event.

And Eschwege itself? It surprises! The town combines sport and relaxation with fun activities for teams: challenge yourself in the climbing forest on the Leuchtberg, or take a refreshing dip in the modern swimming pool with slides and water fun. Take a stroll through the charming town center with its beautiful, typical German half-timbered houses that give Eschwege its unique character. The Germany Handball Cup combines sport, fun, and adventure into one unforgettable experience. Don’t miss out!

The Germany Cup is played across six different sports complexes in and around Eschwege.

One of the most active departments of Eschweger TSV is the handball department, which has around 250 members and currently has two men's teams and four youth teams, two of which are currently participating in competitions.
