Sport facillity

The Kolding Handball Cup will be played at 7 venues in Kolding. The main venue is the Kolding Trefor Arena with 4 courts alongside one another, approximately 2 kilometres from the town centre. This sports centre boasts a large canteen and a range of sports facilities. One of the courts has a stand with room for 3,000 spectators. A second large tournament venue, with 6 courts, is in Fredericia, 20 minutes to the north of Kolding.

Kolding (55,000 residents) is a centuries-old harbour town on the Kolding Fjord, around 80 kilometres from the German border. The small city features an atmospheric centre with pedestrianised shopping streets, little terraces and very classical buildings, including the medieval Kolidinghus.

Legoland is located approximately 50 kilometres from Kolding. The park with its famous toys is full of fast and exciting adventures. It is a place where children of all ages play, experiment and get ideas. It has knights in shining armour, pirates, wild cowboys, Indians and much more. And the nicest thing of all is that there is always something new and exciting in Legoland!
