International youth football tournament Haderslev Denmark: Haderslev Cup

You do not often they encounter a sports park of 24 hectares with 12 fields, 27 dressing rooms, two beautiful sport halls with stands, a restaurant, a clubhouse and a stadium for 10,000 spectators. This  complex is the home base of Haderslev FK and from the Soenderjyske professionals who play at the top level in the Danish Superliga. At Whitsun, the Haderslev Cup will have a grandiose kick off at this unique complex. And everyone is welcome! The organiser, Haderslev FK, is going for a broad international field and for each team, a weekend full of exciting competition, from the beginning until the end of the tournament.

Arrival: check-in with welcome address and information from our on-site employees at the Haderslev Idrætscenter.

A beautiful sports park and the home ground of professional club SønderjyskE, which plays in the Danish Superliga. You will be informed in person about your stay and the tournament. 

Evening
Team leader meeting: welcome reception arranged by the organisers for the team leaders at the Haderslev Idrætscenter. Free time. See tourist information for some great tips.
Saturday
Daytime
Start of the match programme. The whole tournament will be held at Haderslev sports park. The matches will be officiated by referees from the JBU.
Evening
Welcome ceremony in the modern covered arena at the sports park. Show, music and parade followed by a disco.
Sunday

Continuation of the match programme. Qualification matches and finals followed by presentation ceremony.
Afternoon
UEFA Respect ceremony: every participant receives a medal on the podium.

Haderslev

Haderslev (31,000 inhabitants) is located on the south-east coast of Jutland, 50 km from both the German border and Fredericia on the E45. The old city on the fjord has a charming historic centre with nice car-free shopping streets, and here and there a small square with a café terrace. The sports park is a 10 minute walk from the old city, just go down Louisevej and you're there.   

Water Park in Vojens Hallerne

Around 12 km from Haderslev, you'll find Vojens Hallerne indoor swimming pool: a modern pool with numerous features, including a slide, spa, sauna and a steam bath. You can also enjoy a whizz round the indoor skating hall.

Organiser

Haderslev Football Club (HFK) was established in 1906. Today, the club has 1,100 active football players across more than 60 youth teams - boys and girls - and 11 senior teams. The first men's team plays at the highest level in the Danish Superliga, while the first ladies' team plays in the national 2nd division. HFK's key focus is the training of footballing talent in Zuid Jutland. Over the years, the club has organised a number of annually recurring activities. At the beginning of the year, the annual HFK Festival takes place - a one-day festival with matches, games, food and drink for all HFK members, friends and families.
