A celebration on and off the field

International girls football tournament in the Netherlands: Brabant Girls Cup
Participating countries:
Belgium Czech Republic Denmark France Germany Netherlands England Sweden

Girls just wanna have fun? That's exactly right. But they want to play football, too. The Brabant Girls Cup brings these two things together in perfect harmony. During the matches, the girls' teams no doubt have their eyes on the ball, but afterwards they can take a peek at the mini fair next to the pitch, with its cool clothes, bags and fun gadgets. As per tradition, we kick off the first evening of the tournament with the Brabant Girls Cup Parade. Over the course of this cheerful stroll through Rosmalen, the team with the best chant and banner will be awarded a great prize.

Organiser

The Brabant Girls Cup is organised by the OJC Rosmalen football club. This club, dating back to 1910, is one of the biggest amateur football clubs in the Netherlands. It boasts more than 100 active youth and kids' teams. The club has no fewer than 450 active volunteers. Thanks to them, the Brabant Girls Cup is a real party every year.

Sport facillity

The tournament will take place at De Groote Wielen sports park. This park has 9 big and 5 small grass pitches, a large club house, 20 changing rooms, a canteen, a VIP room and stands on the main pitch. The sports park is located 15 minutes' drive from the centre of Den Bosch.

Rosmalen

Rosmalen (31,000 inhabitants) is the neighbouring community of 's-Hertogenbosch, capital of the province of North Brabant. It is a typical Brabantian town with a friendly, welcoming atmosphere in the centre. The Brabant Girls Cup is held at a royal sports complex with 9 pitches near the centre of Rosmalen, five kilometres from 's-Hertogenbosch.

Den Bosch

There is an incredible amount to do and experience in the capital of North Brabant, 's-Hertogenbosch, also known as Den Bosch. For real culture vultures there are museums, boat trips and town tours. Shop-a-holics can really let loose in the various shopping streets, and there are also many cosy restaurants and bars. Don't forget to try the local speciality, the Bossche bol, a large cream profiterole in a chocolate shell.

Party centre and activities: Hooghei

The Hooghei is located in a spectacular spot out in the countryside, with the surrounding woodlands providing the ideal place for some wonderful outdoor activities. There is a huge range of activities of various intensity on offer, so every target group will find something to enjoy. The choice is vast, including paint balling, mountain biking, workshops, survival training courses, 'boerengolf' (farmer's golf) and much more.
