The FSG Bensheim sports park is located in a friendly hilly area, a few kilometres from Cologne’s romantic city centre. The sports park features six sports fields, a large clubhouse and a restaurant with a spacious terrace and a grill area during the tournament.

Bensheim (40,000 inhabitants) is located midway between Darmstadt and Heidelberg. The town lies in the popular Hessische Bergstraße region, a picturesque landscape with vineyards and woods interspersed with fortresses and castles on the mountain slopes. Thanks to its sheltered location, Bensheim enjoys a pleasant climate. Hence, its nickname 'the German Riviera'. With its historic buildings, the centre of Bensheim is definitely worth a visit.

Hessen Mountain Road:

The area surrounding Bensheim is the Hessen mountain road: an incredibly picturesque landscape with many vineyards. Thanks to its protected location at the edge of the Odenwald, spring often arrives in Bensheim much earlier than the rest of Germany. It's because of this that the area is known as the 'German Riviera' - a fantastic place to play football.

Basinus Bad (Basinus Pool):

The Basinus bad in Bensheim offers fun for all the family in the indoor pools with water slides. The indoor swimming pool is around 15 minutes' walk from the sports park. There is also an outdoor pool, which is a small  lake 5 minutes' walk from the tournament location.

Twenty minutes' drive from Bensheim is the medieval university town of Heidelberg. Visit the historic centre with its intimate market square and small shopping streets. And don't miss out on the view from the 13th century Heidelberg castle, the 1th century Old Bridge and the student prison, which dates back to the 16th century.
