There’s no region in the world that is visited by so many foreign teams as the Costa Brava, the most popular coast north of Barcelona. Club Futbol de Tordera has been founded in 1914 and with 500 members it's a large club in Catalunya. It has 12 youth teams and 2 senior teams. The first team of the club is playing in the first regional division of Catalunya.
The Copa Penya Barcelonista is played out in a separate section of a large sports ground just outside Blanes. It features 15 grass pitches, various other facilities (changing rooms, parking, first aid), and a café bar with a spacious shaded terrace. A terrace with a BBQ has been added to the reserved area. The park is laid out in terraces, giving supporters a good view of the fields. During tournament days, team leaders can get information and do their bookings at the multilingual Euro-Sportring desk.
