On Friday teams are welcomed by their hosts at the sports park. After the check-in and receiving all the information clubs can proceed to their accommodations. In the evening the team leaders are invited for the reception in the clubhouse. Meanwhile participants will have no problem enjoying themselves while exploring the city centre of The Hague or visiting the lively boulevard of Scheveningen. On Saturday morning the tournament kicks of with the preliminaries. At noon the festive opening ceremony will take place on the main pitch and a representative of the municipality of Rijswijk will officially open the tournament. In the evening everyone is invited for a festive evening. On Sunday the intermediaries followed by the finals will be played. The prize giving ceremony will conclude the Rijswijk Cup.

As well as participation at the tournament, Euro-Sportring also arranges the accommodation for the participants. Participants can usually choose between school accommodation, group accommodation (youth accommodation and bungalows) and hotels. The accommodation we offer has been selected with care and must comply to a number of conditions such as are they within easy reach of the sports park, do they provide value for money, are they suitable for sports groups, are they safe and are the management flexible. Scheveningen. The Hague is one of the few capitals with its own beach. The former fisherman’s village Scheveningen is today one of the most popular seaside resorts at the Dutch coast. The town is especially popular because of its entertainment on and around the 'Pier'.

Duinrell - The holiday world Duinrell is a place nearby the Dutch North Sea coast that parents as well as children might never want to leave. There’s a wide variety of overnight accommodations, a fun-filled amusement park, the tropical Tiki pool, theme restaurants and countless opportunities for sports and relaxation. Madurodam - If you want to see all of Holland, but don’t have the time, Madurodam is the place to visit. In this miniature world in The Hague you’ll see the canal houses of Amsterdam, the Alkmaar cheese market and parts of the Delta Works, all replicated in minute detail on a 1:25 scale. Windmills turn, ships sail through the harbour and trains are traversing the city on the world's largest miniature railway. More information: www.madurodam.nl

SeaLife - Take a dive under water without getting wet at the SeaLife aquarium in Scheveningen. Here you’ll have a chance to see eye to eye with the inhabitants of the sea in their natural habitat. The SeaLife centre is located on the boulevard of Scheveningen. More information: www.sealife.nl

Shopping/entertainment. The Hague shops are open seven days a week, which is a very good idea because of the enormous diversity on offer. The pride of Hague shopping has to be the new Haagsche Bluf shopping centre in the old city centre, though another attractive option is Babylon shopping centre. A boat trip around the Hague canals. There’s plenty of choice, varying from short trips to theme trips (pirates or witches trips). Book via the VVV tourist information offices (near Central Station, for example). An evening out in the Hague? The Hague has enough on offer, with lots of pubs (mainly in the Hofkwartier), trendy discos, floating cafes and beach pavilions. Furthermore, international restaurants from all over the world make the Hague a particularly ‘tasty’ city.

People already lived here 5.500 years ago but the number of inhabitants has grown quickly during recent times as many new homes have been built here. However, Rijswijk is still known as one of the greenest municipalities of the Netherlands.
