The Hesby Cup is organised in Waremme (20 km West of Liege) on 4 pitches. Furthermore the location has a stadium with a canteen and a grandstand. In this stadium all finals will take place on Sunday afternoon in a Champions League style. Underneath the grandstand there are changing rooms and the tournament secretary. Next to this stadium you will find an indoor swimming pool (for more information see tourist info).
Trophies:
In each category teams finishing in 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th place will receive a trophy.

RS Waremme, during this jubilee edition (10th edition), offers the participants in the Hesby Cup an extensive programme on the sports park Edmond Leburton. With a minimum of 3 games per day in an extended match schedule and the opportunity to participate in several other activities, participants will have a weekend they'll never forget. After check-in at the stadium of RS Waremme, dinner will be served in the tournament dining hall, which will be in one of the schools in the town centre of Waremme. After dinner all team leaders are invited for the team leaders reception in the school accomodation of the Hesby Cup. The next day is filled with football - preliminaries during the day, a Penalty Cup and team leaders match in the evening. On Sunday the tournament continues with the classification matches and a winners and losers round. In the afternoon the finals will follow, partly played in the stadium. Participants not taking part in the finals may visit Liège (20 km from Waremme - see tourist information). The tournament concludes with the prize-giving ceremony outisde the town hall on the market square in the centre of Waremme. The annual ceremony attracts locals from Waremme who join the teams to enjoy an evenin of music and entertainment.

As well as participation at the tournament, Euro-Sportring also arranges the accommodation for the participants. Participants can usually choose between school accommodation, group accommodation (youth accommodation and bungalows) and hotels. The accommodation we offer has been selected with care and must comply to a number of conditions such as are they within easy reach of the sports park, do they provide value for money, are they suitalbe for sports groups, are they safe and are the management fliexible. Visit Maastricht. Maastricht, 30 km from Waremme, is a city founded in Roman times. This city on the river Meuse in the south of the province of Limburg is regarded as one of the most pleasant cities in the Netherlands. Apart from many monuments, the city offers many terraces and restaurants, for example on the famous 'Vrijthof' square in the centre. You can make an exiting visit to the caves of the St. Pietersberg, a few miles from town.
Waremme is situated on the border of the Dutch and French speaking parts of Belgium. The town developed mostly after the Second World War. In 1973 the 'plan sportive' determined that the city has to offer a good infrastructure for the youngest who want to practice sport. This ensures that this 'capital of the Hesby region' (15,000 inhabitants) is ready for the job.Liège, 10 miles from Waremme, called 'La cité ardente' (the fiery city) being the city at the cross roads of Northern and Southern European culture, a city where old meets new. Take a walk through the old city centre and discover the typical traffic-free alleys and shopping streets where street-cafes abound. In this city of 400,000 inhabitants the places to see are the symbol of this 'Meuse'-city, the 'Perron', at the 'Place du Marché'. This monument represents the Province of Liège and the city freedoms. Close to the Perron is the town hall of Liège, known as 'La Violette'. Those who are not afraid of some physical effort can take a walk up to the 407 steps of the 'Montagne de Bueren', the reward is a fantastic panoramic view over the city
Walibi Belgium in Wavre, 38 miles from Waremme, features the Belgian favourite park no less than 50 attractions and shows where young adventurers find themselves caught between sheer terror and wild loop-the-loops of the most elusive of cobra rides. As for fugitives in short trousers, they'll b delighted to escape to the fabulous Bugs Bunny Land where they'll finally be able to stroke Sylvester's coat or experience rock and roll with the whole Looney Tunes Gang.

Funpark Bobbejaanland in Lichtaart, 38 miles from Waremme, is one of the most famous theme parks in Belgium with plenty of attractions and shows. Children's land, exciting rides and different multilingual shows, means there is so much to do for every age, A full day is recommended to make a visit worthwhile. Swimming pool. Next to the stadium of RS Waremme there is an indoor swimming pool. The swimming pool has a glass roof. This roof can be opened when the weather is good, so the children will have the time of their life, On the large water slide they can spent hours of fun when they are not on the football pitch. Opening hours (under proviso): Saturday 09:00-17:00 hours. Sunday 09:00-12:00 hrs. Swimming-trunks are compulsory, NO shorts!
