Hanze Trophy Zwolle, Netherlands - 03 untill 04 April 2010 (Easter) (nl)

From the first edition on, the Hanze Trophy has become one of the most popular tournaments in the programme of Euro-Sportring. Due to the excellent sports accommodation, the many enthusiastic volunteers and the experienced tournament committee, the Hanze Trophy is, for many clubs, the place to be at Easter. The programme starts on Friday evening with the team leaders meeting. Transportation from the different accommodation to the clubhouse will be arranged by the organiser. The tournament starts on Saturday morning with the preliminaries. At noon the presentation of the teams will take place during the flagparade. A representative of the municipality of Zwolle will officially open the tournament with the ceremony concluding with a surprise performance. Between the matches, participants won't be lacking something to do because every year the organiser succeeds in getting the most exciting football related games (e.g. beach soccer tournament). In the evening the popular 'Hanze' party will be held in the always crowded clubhouse. On Sunday the remaining group matches will be played as well as the classification matches and the finals. The programme will be concluded with a prize giving ceremony.

As well as participation at the tournament, Euro-Sportring also arranges the accommodation for the participants. Participants can usually choose between school accommodation, group accommodation (youth accommodation and bungalows) and hotels. Zwolle: Zwolle, the old hanseatic city of Zwolle is the capital of the province of Overijssel and is home to around 110,000 people. Historic facades, wonderful mansion houses, city walls and canals: that's Zwolle in a nutshell. Despite Zwolle being a lively provincial city with all the facilities you'd expect, it has not lost any of its intimacy. The centre, with its striking old gothic city hall, is a fine place for shopping and evenings out. There is choice enough. The area also offers lots of natural beauty, for example along the IJssel river.

Swimming-centre 'Hanzebad'. The 'Hanzebad' is a large subtropical indoor swimming pool near the centre of Zwolle. It has various attractions for water-fun like slides/shoots and a wild-water river. Amusement parc Hellendoorn (21 miles from Zwolle). Amusement parc Hellendoorn is one of the most popular amusement parcs in the Netherlands with spectacular attractions like the Sungasi Kalimantan, Canadian River, Montezuma's Revenge and Tornada.
