SR Colmar Football has proven to be capable of organising successful tournaments in the eighties and is determined to repeat this with the second edition of the Colmar Bartholdi Trophy. Competitors are welcome on Friday and are free to explore the charming, old town of Colmar after checking in. The tournament kicks of on Saturday when the preliminaries will be played and team leaders are welcomed at the team leaders reception after which the official team's presentation is scheduled. On Saturday evening everybody is free to do as they please. Like visiting the the old city of Colmar or paying a visit to another tourist magnet, the old town of Riquewihr. For adults, visiting a wine cellar is also a possibility. On Sunday the rest of the classification matches will decide which teams will be in the finals. The finals, followed by the prize giving ceremony will conclude the second edition of the Colmar Bartholdi Trophy.

As well as participation at the tournament, Euro-Sportring also arranges the accommodation for the participants. Participants can usually choose between school accommodation, group accommodation (youth accommodation and bungalows) and hotels. The accommodation we offer has been selected with care and must comply to a number of conditions such as are they within easy reach of the sports park, do they provide value for money, are they suitable for sports groups, are they safe and are the management flexible. Vosges Mulhouse. (24 miles from Colmar). In the centre part of the Vosges (in the north east of France), is where we find the typical Alsace town of Colmar. Nearby is Mulhouse, a city which is home to more than 200,000 people and which offers all the advantages of a metropolis, such as an attractive centre, a fascinating zoo with botanical gardens, La Filature, the new modern arts complex. Not to forget is of course the 'national motorcar museum'.

Colmar - Colmar is loved by many people for its countless treasures from the middle ages to the twentieth century. The colours and atmosphere of its streets and alley-ways have been well-preserved since the Middle Ages and their ancient houses are reflected in the water which passes through the city. This popular tourist destination not only offers a beautiful historical city centre but also one of the widest European pedestrian precincts. The well preserved old city was founded in the 9the century and these days is the home to 67.000 people.
