The Arnhem Cup offers an attractive combination of a visit to the provincial capital Arnhem and a meeting with football friends from many European countries. ESCA is a very experienced organiser that has been responsible for many successful handball tournaments over the last ten years. Building on this successful event, ESCA also combines the handball tournament with a football tournament which will guarantee a great atmosphere at sports complex Valkenhuizen. The Arnhem Cup starts on Friday with a team leaders meeting. On Saturday the tournament really kicks off with the official opening ceremony and the group matches. In the evening, participants can plunge into the nearby tropical swimming pool ‘De Koppel’ (free of charge) or explore the lively city centre of Arnhem. The tournament will end on Sunday afternoon when the remaining group matches en eventually the finals will be played. After all this, guests are welcome at a festive evening and the prize giving ceremony.

As well as participation at the tournament, Euro-Sportring also arranges the accommodation for the participants. Participants can usually choose between school accommodation, group accommodation (youth accommodation and bungalows) and hotels. Accommodations have been selected with care and must comply to a number of conditions such are they are within easy reach of the sports park, value for money, suitable for sports groups, safety provisions and a flexible management. Dutch Open Air Museum. If you would like to travel back in time, the Dutch Open Air Museum in Arnhem is not to be missed. The magnificent park offers an exposition of more than 80 houses from different parts of the Netherlands. This way, visitors will get a unique view of life and work in the Netherlands during the past 250 years. If you'd like to go one step further, enter the Hollandrama time capsule and see the Dutch interiors and cityscapes float past you.

Burger's Zoo. With over 3.000 animals there's plenty to see in Burger's Zoo but Burger's Zoo is more than just a zoo. In 1968 already the first Safari Park on mainland Europe was opened here and in recent years some more attractions have been added. For example Burger's Bush, the world's first covered rain forest but also the mangrove, the desert and the ocean have it's place in Burger's Zoo.
