International youth football tournament Assen Netherlands, Top of Holland Trophy.

This international youth football tournament in Assen in the Netherlands, the Top of Holland Trophy, knows what splendour is all about. No less than 100 teams from eight different countries participate in this competition. The secret? The beneficial program, mostly. Every night there’s a disco party, team leaders are welcomed with entertainment and participants get free entrance to the subtropical swimming pool ‘Bonte Wever’. Facilities
The Top of Holland Trophy takes place at 4 locations. The sports park of the main organizer 'Achilles 1894' has three grass pitches, an artificial pitch, several training pitches, a modern designed clubhouse with canteen, business-club and a large number of dressing rooms beneath. The main pitch has a stand with a capacity for 2000 spectators. The other sports parks may be more moderate of size but have also fine grass and artificial pitches, spacious clubhouses and several dressing rooms. All locations are situated at around 1 miles from each other and close to the city centre of Assen.

The starting from price includes participation in the tournament, stay and meal(s), but excludes an entry fee per team.

Remarks
Due to different deadlines set by national soccer associations in various age-categories the tournament organiser has awarded the following dispensations:

Category U19:
Teams from Switzerland, Belgium and Luxemburg: all players born on/after 01.01.92.
Teams from Italy: 5 players born on/after 01.01.92.
Teams from USA: all players born on/after 01.08.92.

All categories:
Teams from Denmark: 2 players born on/after 01.10 of the year before.

Please note that metal studs are not permitted on artificial grass.
