International youth football tournament Italy Garda Lake, Trofeo Valtenesi del Garda Cup.


Does anything sound better than an international youth football tournament at the Lake Garda in Italy? Probably not. No wonder this tournament is loved by many. You will play in two or three sport locations. Due to the beautiful entourage it’s not hard to feel at ease in this international tournament: the main pitch overlooks the Lake Garda and is bordered by olive trees. The tournament is held only a short distance from all hotspots of Lake Garda, such as the popular seaside resorts of Desenzano, Sirmione and Peschiera and of course Gardaland, one of Italy’s largest amusement parks. So, this international youth football tournament at Lake Garda in Italy is more than just football.

Facilities
The Trofeo Valtenesi is played on four different pitches. Two grass-pitches are located on a sportlocation in Polpenazze del Garda. This is the centre of the tournament; the opening- and closing ceremony are held here and it is also the place where the tournament mensa is located. One grass-pitch is in Moniga del Garda, about 8 km from Polpenazze and an artificial grass-pitch is located in Manerba del Garda, about 2.5 miles from Polpenazze. During the tournament different kind of snacks and drinks will be sold in the canteen and at different stands on the sports grounds.

  • Number 1 to 4 per category, a cup per team
  • Fair Play Cup per category
  • Medals for all players of both finalists per category
  • Pennant or other souvenir per participating club
  • Souvenir for each participant


Price information
The starting from price includes participation in the tournament, stay and meal(s), but excludes an entry fee per team.

Remarks
Due to different deadlines - set by national soccer associations the tournament organizer has granted dispensations for:
All categories:
Teams from USA: all players born on/after 01.08 of the year before.
Teams from England/Wales:all players born on/after 01.09 of the year before.
Teams from Denmark: 2 players born on/after 01.10 of the year before.

In tournaments where no breakdown categories (U18/U16/U14/U12/U10) are organized:
Taems from England/Wales: all players born on/after 01.09 of the year before.
Teams from USA: all players born on/after 01.08 of the year before.

The Italian government and football association require - not later than 60
days before arrival - a list of participants. Example follows upon definite booking.

Players numbers are obligatory, before each match you have to fill out a players list and identify players.

Please note that metal studs on artificial grass are not allowed.
