Stay
As well as participation at the tournament, Euro-Sportring also arranges the accommodation for the participants. Participants can usually choose between school accommodation, group accommodation (youth accommodation and bungalows) and hotels. The accommodation we offer has been selected with care and must comply to a number of conditions, such as: are they within easy reach of the sports park, do they provide value for money, are they suitable for sports groups, are they safe and is the management flexible.

Other information
Transport during tournament

- Tournament shuttle:
On the tournament days, a shuttle bus rides at fixed times. This shuttle service only transports groups from the accommodation(s) to the sports park(s) and vice versa.
If you want to use this shuttle service, you must indicate this when you make your booking.

- Local transport:
The possibility exists to hire a bus especially for your group for transport during the tournament days. If you wish to use this option, you must indicate this when you make your booking.

- Airport transfers:
Transfer with both normal busses and double-deckers, to and from the following airports are available on request: Bergamo, Milan, Bologna, Forlì, Venice and Florence.

Touristic information
Cesenatico
Cesenatico, one of the best seaside resorts on the Adriatic just north of Rimini, was founded in the early 14th century. Cesenatico has 5 miles of fine sandy beaches and the town's broad streets bustle with activity. The picturesque harbour is home to many fishing boats. In the 15th century, the extension plans for the harbour were designed by no-one less than Leonardo da Vinci. In the harbour channel you'll also find 'The Maritime Museum', which is a floating museum. Nine traditional styles of boat can be admired here. When rigged up, their sails are a colourful addition to the cheerful harbour. Cesenatico, with its old town centre has some great shopping streets. This is the ideal location to enjoy the sun, sea and entertainment. Venice, with its gondola's, lovely channels and bridges and the city-state of San Marino are within reach of a day trip.

Funpark Mirabilandia
Funpark Mirabilandia/Ravenna is 15 miles from Cesenatico and offers 850,000 square metres, almost 200 football pitches of refreshing green areas filled with many attractions. Seven areas, the magical lands of Mirabilandia, are waiting to be discovered. Within each area theatres, shops, restaurants and ice-cream parlours. At Mirabilandia there is only one entrance fee for all the attractions, like several roller-coasters, the watersplash, the two towers and many different shows. Once you have your ticket, you will take off for an adventurous journey in a fantasy world created for the family, the kids, the toddlers and for all those who would have liked to have never grown up or those who just want to feel young for a day. Note: only suitable for a full day excursion

San Marino
San Marino, 20 miles from Cesenatico, with its 61 sqkm and its 26,000 inhabitants is one of the smallest states of the world. It is situated on and around a 750 meters high hill, only 10 miles from Rimini. In whatever part of the territory you go, in particular at the peak of its mountain, your gaze is lost over a unique, dazzling panorama: the fertile soils of Emilia Romagna and the soft rolling hills of the Marche and Montefeltro, and on to the calm Adriatic sea. With it's capital high up in the hill, San Marino is a place rich in history and modern hospitality. A day, or half day trip takes you along museums, ancient forts and palaces, immersed in a fairy tale world.

Italia in Miniatura, (24 miles from Cesenatico).
Italia in Miniatura/Viserba di Rimini. Go to Italia in Miniatura if you want to see Italy in just a few hours! In Italia in Miniatura you can walk through the whole peninsula and see all important cities, buildings and other touristic attractions which are worth seeing. But Italia in Miniatura is more than that: take a ride in the monorail and admire the park from above, or take a walk through the prehistorical valley. Or why not take a gondola and navigate through Venice. In Italia in Miniatura this beautiful city is only 5 times smaller than the real one, don't forget to visit the piazza San Marco with it's 20 m high Bell tower. In total there are over 15 attractions, which makes it a full day visit worth while. Note: only suitable for full day excursion.

Dolphinarium/Rimini, (16 miles from Cesenatico).
Close to the centre of Rimini you can find the Dolphinarium. Check out the underwater world and meet the most friendly and clever creature of the Sea. Admire the swift Dolphin's way of swimming and visit one of the shows which are held two or three times a day. The dolphinarium has also a museum and several acquariums with incredible reproductions of different marine landscapes from the Mediterranean and tropical Seas.

Program introduction
The Trofeo Cesenatico is a pleasant mix of relaxed ambiance of an Adriatic seaside resort and the excitement of an international competition on the grass pitch. The programme starts on Friday evening with a welcome of the teamleaders by the mayor of Cesenatico. On Saturday the preliminaries start on the various venues. In the evening the participants are welcomed at a special ceremony in the stadium, with show and music. On Sunday the remaining preliminaries, semi-finals and finals are in the stadium. As a warming up for the prize-giving ceremony, the teamleaders can show their skills in a friendly match. The official prize-giving ceremony concludes the programme.
