Stay
As well as participation at the tournament, Euro-Sportring also arranges the accommodation for the participants. Participants can usually choose between school accommodation, group accommodation (youth accommodation and bungalows) and hotels. The accommodation we offer has been selected with care and must comply to a number of conditions, such as: are they within easy reach of the sports park, do they provide value for money, are they suitable for sports groups, are they safe and is the management flexible.

The possibility exists to hire a bus especially for your group for transport to and from the airport or during the tournament days. If you wish to use this option, you must indicate this when you make your booking. Prices are available on request.

Catering:
You can book a lunch for this tournament. This means that you will be offered a lunch on all of the tournament days in the form of a lunch packet or served in a restaurant. If you want to use this option, you must indicate this when you make your booking. The lunch arrangement cannot be booked individually, but applies to every member of your group. Prices on request.

Touristic information
Prague.
The beauty of Prague is legendary since the middle ages. The Czech love their capital and have a passion for their past. As a result, the city is beautifully preserved. No wonder that Prague works like a magnet to visitors from all over the world. Here, they will find a fabulous architecture, numerous impressing monuments, charming alleys and lively shopping areas in a historical setting. Prague is build on seven hills, divided by the Moldau river, which is spanned by 15 bridges. The centre consists of 6 sections, each with a distinguish flavour: Staré Mesto (Old Town) with its winding, narrow cobblestone streets, Nové Mesto (New Town - don't be fooled: over 600 years old) with the popular Wencelas Square, Malá Strana (little town), the most picturesque part of Prague filled with palaces, Hradcany - the quarter around the famous Prague Castle and Vysehrad, named after the fortress on the cliffs rising high above the Moldau river and finally the Josefov-Jewish ghetto with the spirit of Franz Kafka.

Shopping.
Where better than on the Wenceslasplein and the surrounding main shopping streets. A number of large warehouses can also be found here. The Karlsbridge is a favourite location for street vendors, which livens up the streetscape considerably.

Nightlife
The nightlife is concentrated on the Wenceslassquare and surrounding area. Simply follow the noise! There are also many traditional pubs, a number of which are very well known. The most famous is U Flekò in the New City (Køemencova ulice 11). It dates from 1499!

Worth seeing.
* Pub 'U Medvidku'. This famous Czech pub in the centre of the city offers four menus courses and different kind of drinks (unlimited consumption).
* The city hall of the old city. The astronomic clock is the main attraction here: it chimes on the hour and twelve apostles appear.
* The Tõn Church (Malá Strana), an impressive Renaissance construction with two imposing eighty metre high towers, which dominate the view of the city.
* Prague Castle. A famous attraction dating back to the 9th century. It was home to Emperors in days gone by, and the Royal Palace is open to the public. The 'Alley of Gold' is full of picturesque houses ( the writer Franz Kafka once lived at number 22), many of them now house souvenir shops.
* PetøÍn hill: Beautiful view of the golden city of Prague from the PetøÍn hill (Little Quarter). The 65 m viewing tower gives an impressive panoramic view of the city.

Strahov Stadium.
The Strahov Stadium is the largest football stadium in Europe. It has almost 8 hectares and offers space for 240,000 spectators! The stadium was originally built in the nineteen thirties, but it was fully renovated in 2002-2003. In addition, the latest technology is utilized, such as laser-controlled bulldozers. The stadium currently has a main pitch, five grass training fields and two fields with artificial grass, all furnished with perfect drainage systems and automatic spraying installations. The top class football centre of AC Sparta is located here.

Program introduction
The 'Golden City' of Prague offers many attractions for visitors from all over the world. Participants in the Golden City Cup do not have to worry about missing the beauty of Pargue as the schedule will leave them plenty of time to roam the streets of this beautifully preserved city. Their first chance to do so is after arrival on Friday evening but on Saturday they are expected on the pitch for the preliminaries. On Saturday evening buses will be waiting for the teamleaders to bring them to a location where the official reception will take place. On Sunday the tournament continues with the intermediaries and classification matches. The finals will be played at the different locations, followed by a prize-giving. The evening can be used to experience the many attractions of Prague one more time.
