International youth football tournament Garda Cup Italy.

A fantastic international youth football tournament is the Garda Cup in Italy. In 2012 the twelfth edition of this tournament will be held. The Garda Cup will offer an extended program including an opening ceremony. An additional benefit is the fact that the Garda Cup is played on a great sports park with well-kept grass pitches which are located not far from the lake. Teams of many nationalities join this competition. They are not only here to take home the trophy, but also to discover the area. The colourful nature amongst the Lake Garda but also the large amusement park Gardaland makes this international youth football tournament Garda Cup in Italy worth it!

Facilities
The Garda Cup is played on several locations in the beautiful surroundings of Lake Garda, with beautiful pitches and some of them have a view on the Lake.
All sport locations can be reached within 15 minutes from each other.
During the tournament different kinds of snacks and drinks will be sold in different stands on the sports grounds.

Player's numbers are obligatory.

The Italian government and football association require, not later than 60 days before arrival, a list of participants. Example follows upon definite booking. Before each match you have to fill out a players list and you have to identify the players.

Due to different deadlines ,set by national soccer associations, the tournament organizer has granted dispensations:
All categories:
Teams from Denmark: 2 players born on/after 1-10 of the year before

U19:
Teams from Switzerland, Belgium and Luxemburg: all players born on/after 1.1.92
Teams from Italy: 5 players born on/after 1.1.92
Teams from USA: all players born on/after 1.8.92

England/Wales: in tournaments where no breakdown categories (U18/U16/U14/U12/U10) are organized:
All players born on/after 1/9 of the year before.

USA: in tournaments where no breakdown categories (U18/U16/U14/U12/U10) are organized:
All players born on/after 1/8 of the year before.

Female categories:
G15: Teams from USA and Poland: all players born on/after 01.08.96
G15: teams from Denmark: 2 players born on/after 01.10 of the year before.

Please note that metal studs on artificial grass are not allowed.
