Ruim 400 wedstrijden in één weekend: de organisator van de Arnhem Cup gaat de uitdaging niet uit de weg! Met Pinksteren wacht de voetballiefhebber in Arnhem een sportief avontuur. De organisatoren tekenen voor een strakke uitvoering van het programma, een doordacht wedstrijdschema en uiteraard veel gastvrijheid. Volgens een enthousiaste deelnemer: “ het toernooi is ieder jaar weer beter, dus duimen omhoog voor al die enthousiaste vrijwilligers”.  Voeg daar aan toe de charmes van de Arnhemse binnenstad bij de oever van de Rijn en het plaatje voor een geslaagd voetbalweekend is compleet.

Opening ceremony in Arnhem with a parade and music.
Saturday

Start of the match programme. The tournament will be played at four locations in Arnhem. The matches will be officiated by official referees

Morning /
Continuation of the match programme. Qualification matches and finals followed by prize-giving ceremony at the sports parks.

UEFA Respect ceremony: every participant receives a medal on the podium.

De Arnhem Cup wordt georganiseerd door de voetbalclubs Arnhemse Boys, VV Eldenia en ESA. Samen hebben ze bijna 3000 leden. 

Het toernooi om de Arnhem Cup wordt gespeeld op de zeer fraaie sportparken van de organiserende clubs Arnhemse Boys, vv Eldenia en ESA. De sportparken hebben uitstekende velden, een gezellig clubhuis en diverse kleedkamers.

Arnhem (155,000 inhabitants) is situated on the banks of the Rhine on the edge of a beautiful nature reserve in the Eastern Netherlands. The provincial capital rubs shoulders with De Veluwe national park, the biggest nature reserve in the Netherlands. South of the city lies the extensive rivers region. The lively city centre offers fantastic entertainment, with numerous lively terraces along Korenmarkt, and of course, a superb shopping centre.

The GelreDome is the home of the Arnhem professional football club, Vitesse. It's a special stadium which can quickly be converted into a concert hall: the grass is pushed back and the roof closes. Do you want to see that up close? Then take a tour of the stadium!

School/Sportshall

Two schools have been reserved for the participants at the Arnhem Cup. Both schools are located in Arnhem South at about two kilometers from the lively Centre of Arnhem. The sports parks where the Arnhem Cup takes place are within easy reach. The schools are modern and offer an auditorium for meals. Around the building there is space for outdoor activities. The super modern GelreDome stadium of the premier league club Vitesse Arnhem is located at around one kilometer from both buildings.
